Hey i just got done shimming my valves, i pulled the head when i did them and pulled the valves out to make sure they were alright. when i pulled the head off i also loosened the cylinder and all of the antifreeze dumped out. I put it all back together but did not put a new cylinder gasket on because i never lifted the cylinder off. Now it looks like there is a small amount of antifreeze coming out the side of the cylinder when it runs.
Its not much, how bad would it be to just leave it?
Will the antifreeze get into the oil?

Yea if the cylinder gasket leaks it is possible that the anti freeze can get into the crankcase contaminating the oil and could really do some damage. Deffinetly replace the gasket. Next time drain the anti freeze out before you tear the motor apart. But i deffinetly recommend getting new gaskets. When you put them on make sure that the surfaces are as clean and as dry as possible. A little gasket sealer wouldn't hurt either.
