walsh cr500 link 250r

hi guys,
i'm new on this forum and i'm from quebec canada and i bought a walsh frame for 250r with cr500 linkage . the guy from i bought this one ran it only 2 time so and he ran the bike with a 450r swing arm so the swingarm hit the motor and broke this one. I would like to know if I have to buy a walsh swingarm with cr500 linkage absolutely or I can buy a Laeger with cr link . i only bought the frame and it came with gibson arm .I would like to know what kind of suspension i have to buy to fit the cr500 linkage . scuse me i don't speak english very well but i would like to have your experience because here in quebec there is no lot of these walsh 250r thanks

a cr500 link frame would have the upper shock mount in an f'ed up location for a trx450r swinger, maybe he ran a 450r swinger with a nolink shock? only thing i can come up with, as for mix n match between chassis companies, i believe some of them offset the shock to the right for air intake clearance issues, so not just any 250r style swinger will work, i would look for a walsh, if you find something else, take lots of measurements.

the linkage position seems to be more on the right if we compare to the motor mount....sorry the frame has some dirt on it I don't clean it since I bought it

I am not sure which other cr500 link swing arm will fit the walsh frame.

I have a walsh frame/swingarm and it is awesome. So I would suggest contacting Walsh and ordering one. Be tough to find one used.

One other thing...

I don't know if Walsh made a frame without the cr500 link, but you can tell by the top shock mount in the rear. It will be higher and much more to the right.
