Anyone have the white carbon-fiber plastics on their ex? Would love to see some pics of these installed!

there is a guy with them, his screen name is like 3dollerbill or something strange like that. He hasnt been on here for a long time though.

just for the record these are not real carbon fiber. it just has a carbon fiber texture on it. IMO it does not look good.

I like them alot but wouldn't pay the price tag for them JMO.....if they were the same price it would be hard to pass up though

Im pretty sure that when I was on Maier`s website last nite that they are the same price as their non-carbon look race cut fenders are. And yes I am aware that they are not real carbon fiber. Need newv plastics and was thinking ofv going with either white or silver when I found these and would love to see some pics of them installed.

That picture isn't of 400ex plastics though is it? I wish my quad had plastics like that!

Nahh there from a raptor 250. I wonder how much work it would be to mount em on a 400...

they are on sale right now on maiers site for 266.95 for the front one, the backs are on sale for 212.

The one ones will fit the new style fenders on a 400ex if you that is what you are talking about. i am not totally sure on the newest style of the 08-09 but the rest will interchange with a few brackets that are different. the new ones have a different seat, gas tank and everything so it may be a bit more work. you can search for some info on it to see if there are any pics floating around that show how it do it. steve

They are sweet, and very unique. No one you ride with, near, or around will have anything like them. They pretty muck look like white in these pics, but you've seen what the carbon looks like. I changed the hood to a GenX atv fiberglass hood, so it's a little different than stock, but you can obviously go with the stock set up. I very pleased with the look, and the quality isn't bad. The stock plastics felt a little stiffer, but when you are going mach 3 down a trail, who cares if your rear plastics are flappin' a touch more.

Two thumbs up.

Id have to agree. ^^6That looks sexy in white! the carbon is real nice. Maybe its time for new plastics :D

It would look really nice if those raptor 250 fronts could be mounted, and stock rears could still be used. IMO the aggresive front fenders would be a welcomed addition to the 400!
