what would be better?

ok so I was looking up some pipes for a 400ex and would putting a full say hmf pipe on be better than leaving the stock pipe on but putting the different end cap on that is bigger? but it wouldn't have the baffles in it. I just don't know if it would be the same or worse than just spending the extra money on a actual full pipe.

putting a different end cap on a stock exhuast 400ex doesn't change anything. The 400ex exhuast is chambered. People in the past have put holes in the chambers in it for better performance.
But it is not going to compare to a full aftermarket exhuast.


I ran my 400ex without any end cap or spark arrester once and it doesn't do anything at all except make it sound really bad. its not even that loud lol
