Cleaned 'em, did a coat of primer and a few top coats. Just wondering how it will stand up to rocks and other debris. Should be alright since the rims cover most of them.

That is one CLEAN bike!!! Looks awesome.

What brand of paint did you use? I don't think really any kind of paint will hold up to sticks and rocks. Powder coat would be the best. But yours looks great.

Just a suggestion. Spray some degreaser on your front tires, this will get the dirty stains off of them.

One of my buddies painted his and they actually held up decent.

Nice bike though!

They will hold up fine, I did mine two years ago and they still look new.

I did mine along with other parts and they look great. As long as the prep is done good the paint will hold up.

I used Rustoleum Painter's Touch - Apple Red. It's good paint, I use it all the time. I wanted to get them powder coated but that would cost like $50 versus $3.

Oh, and here's some pictures just for you:

i used duplicolor caliper paint and it is awesome, holds up great and resists dirt, corrosion, etc. better becasue it is made to withstand brake dust and etc.

Thanks. Can't wait to get a bumper back on. I'm thinking about going with an IMS Roll one this time.

i like those too or the one from tag. That would have been my second choice for my bumper at the time. steve

Yeah, I do like the Tag that looks like the IMS Roll Intimidator. Can't decide if I want that style or the classic style.
