I have a decent shape '88 250r that I am fixing up and giving to a friend who loves to ride but has very little money. He is an Iraq veteran that was in baghdad and a very good guy and deserves a nice bike. If you have used 250r parts for sale, let me know. Thanks guys.
NEED for '88 250r:
+2 a-arms
extended brake lines
Aftermarket steering stem
+4 axle with hubs
affordable front shocks set up for 200lb rider
nerf bars
Front bumper
Aftermarket axle carrier
anti-fade lock nut
Good Sprockets- 13 front - 39 rear
front brake master cyl and maybe calipers
Oversize radiator
aluminum shrouds
That should get me started, Thanks guys
If anyone would like to go through the motor, shoot me a price. Needs to be sleeved, ported, and knock out casting flaws. Bearings, seals, and gaskets all the way through. Will Probably replace crank while cases are split.
