White Bros R4 exhaust!!!!

Anyone know if the R4 is a good exhaust system or not?

If you know of any other exhaust that are good please tell me about it gettn ready to start on my stock 400. Need some ideas

Mine has proved reliable and powerful, so yea... I would say its "good."

The e-series is quieter however... and tunable.

I prefer the E-Series over the R4, but that's my opinion. They are both good though. The E-Series sounds better to me too.

I was going to order a R-4 but then I decided to go with HMF. . . something alittle diffrent :p

i like the R4...it really gives you a good sound and pulls in the mid-range.........other pipes i would suggest would be procircuit T4, white bros E-series, and supertrapp IDS2........your choice, they're all good ones

Nacs what did you jet your r4? And does it sound deep or loud?

I want to make mine sound like a crf450 with a pipe.

dude i cant remember what i got for jets in there right now....maybe 170 main...???.....its got a deep sound to it, its not really annoying like alot of pipes. i like it quite a bit.....heres a pic of it

My Friend has one on his Z and it made it rev alot quicker. It has a Nice deep sound to it. Its loud. But not an annoying loud to me.

heres a picture of my r-4. i was runnin 165 main and 42 pilot, cant remember the needle, with the choke removed. now i have a FCR with 175 main, 55 pilot and the needle on the 4th groove i think.

Pro-Cirtcuit T-4. they are supposedly pretty close in design and power. just get a T-4 and polish it to look like the R-4.

Just dont order from go parts direct, i ordered an R4 and the sent me an e-series. I do really like the e though, it gave me great power all the way through the powerband.:macho

Rico That is sorta odd. I have the same pipe as you. We have them both cut. And Mine doesn't have those decals.

I got the R4 slip on and it was much better than stock. my friends luckily have a T4 wich is about 1/4 in smaller in diameter and a bit less sound but the R4 seems to rev quicker and perform a bit better. My other friend has a E sieres wich i have heard has more power but i noticed almost no differnce between the two other than looks and sound.;
