anyone still building these?..i ve been thinking about it for a while, might be something i want to try.

i have built a few hybrids in the past and have had numerous 250r style aftermarket quads...

If you have one, post up some pics...and post up who/ where you had the conversion done!

thanks!

I'm building on myself this year. We're doing the conversion our self after reading and picking up tips and Ideas off of this site. I'll get some pictures when we get more work done.

He was wondering who did the frame anthony we know you built the bike

the frame was orignally done by atv-fourplay and I had nothing but problems out of it and then I redid it front to back with brian chapman doing the work (he builds some of the best Junior dragsters in the country) after that it fit together like a production bike and never broke agian....

if you dont mind me asking how much was it for the conversion?

i dunno what atv fourplay charged for the conversion but it was crap... i think Chapman charged me $400 for the redo... which was much more indepth and ALOT of extra work to redo the rear upper frame section entirely.

there is not another 400ex conversion frame like it.

Here is mine. I'm trying to sell it, I just listed it on here to part out I figured i'd get more money that way. But its an 01 400ex frame with an 02 engine.

Don't ever ride it. I was going to part it out but if I could get $3500 i'd sell it.
