HMF exhaust....TRM questions?

Anyone have a HMF exhaust with the torque range modifier? I have a Penland HMF on my Rubicon and it came with a TRM. I was going to install it today, removed the endcap, and attempted to insert the TRM but it wouldn't go in. Why? Help?

Ok, I realize this is not a 400ex, but my 400ex should arrive tonight or tomorrow. I will be putting a HMF on it as well. I emailed HMF but haven't received a reply yet, just thought maybe someone with a HMF exhaust might be able to tell me what's up.

I have a Ballance and have the TRM in right now. It should go in easy once you take the end cap off. However the quiet core and the TRM wont go in at same time... maybe you have the quiet core in?

Or you have it turned the wrong way but i doubt you wouldnt of already tried both

Hmm, if it came with the quite core, then it was already installed. I didn't realize that was the case. I haven't tried to remove anything from it other than the end cap but I will go look at that now.

Ok, just took the endcap off again, there is nothing that I can remove inside, so I assume I don't have a quiet core insert. Actually, I thought the TRM WAS my qci but was looking at HMFs site the other day and realized that it wasn't.

Anyways, I have a query in with HMF, hopefully they will reply tomorrow.
