I have an Arens Brothers frame for sale its $750 shipped and I accept Paypal. Its in nice shape with typical paint chipping and wear around the footpeg area. This is for the frame, footpegs and nerfbars shown. If interested in any other item you see on it let me know. The A-arms and front shocks are spoken for. It will also include a full belly chassis skid plate not shown.

Any bends or breaks? Does it include the head stay and brake pedal setup?

No bends or rewelds. The head stay wasn't on it so I don't have it. The rear brakes were removed as a complete system and will also be sold seperatly for $80 shipped with braided steel line.

Looks like a great setup; if I hadn't purchased a primo stock frame with fresh p/c about 6 months ago, yours would be in my garage! Good luck with it!!

Would an 88-89 motor bolt right to this frame. I notice that it doesn't have the top rear motor mount like on my stock 88 frame.

Correct you would use a '96 CR250 rear brake pedal.

Also a OEM headstay mount will not work on an Arens frame. One could be made fairly easy though.

arens frames are designed after the 88/89, they just use the bottom rear engine mount instead of the top rear like the stock frame

Yes, it will bolt right in. Neither my Lonestar or Laeger's frame have that top rear motor mount cross member either. The chromolly chassis are stronger than the stock mild steel frames, I guess they didn't need it.

I know Arens calls for a CR brake lever but this had a stock 250R lever on it.

Sorry to ask questions on your FS thread, but you have any pictures of the pedal setup when the bike is together? Or is the pedal modified in any way?

Thanks and good luck with the sale, it is definitely priced to sell.

Do you happen to know the year of the frame?

Does anyone know where to find the frame markings or a way to tell the year? My buddy owned this for 3 years and he bought it from the guy that built it so I would have to say its at least 5 years old.

I did get the head stay from my buddy that still had it in his garage so it will be included with the frame.
