What type of terrain do you ride in?

Kind of rocky trails and some dirt roads and soft trails.

If you ride alot of rocky trails i would say 22's.

Depends on the size of the rocks and ruts. I run 20's in some really nasty and rocky GNCC terrain. The only time I wish I had 22's is when its extremely muddy or huge rocks like The Wisp race had.

definitly get the 22s you will have like no ground cleaance without them and also with the 22s you wont have to regear the wheeler and personaly i wouldnt run 20 unless i was on a track cause i am constantly botttoming out the skid with my 22 i wouldnt even want to amagine it without that extra inch

I got 18x11x9 holeshot mx and i love them to death but i ride mx and soft terrain trails and farms , so i'd go with the 20s cuz 22's are huge on a 300ex
it makes the back end sit up so high

22' holeshots ride completely differnt then stockers. Theres not even a comparrison from ballon tires to those, i know cause i had stockers on and i bought 22" and they were completely differnt.

I believe that the 20" Holeshot XC actual size is around 21" it is a perfect size IMHO.

So do you think i should go with the 20in tires.

i would, as far as i know 22'' are tuff on yur STOCK clutch, now if u have a hinson or a dirtdigger then go for it.

man common 300ex's come stock with 22's!!! i mean common unless these 22inch tires weigh 50 apiece its gonna be fine on the clutch...and acually stock honda metal and fiber plates with heavy duty springs always last me longer than any barnet or EBC clutch so...

Hey i got another question. How are the maxis razrs:)

Chanman420q
01-20-2003, 07:04 PM
ive only had the originals, i liked them but they wore down weird, like the edges wore down at a slant... and i lost a lot of traction, but when there not disformed  i loved them. I actually wanna get the Razr 2's and try those out, see how they compare to the first ones

I liked my Razrs alot. The only reason I went to the Holeshots is because of the 20's measuring out to a 21. If Maxxis puts there Razr out as a 21 i'll go back. Get yourself some 20" Holeshot XC you won't be sorry.

Ive got a pair of holeshot xct 22x11x10 6 plys. They sell for 70 bucks each at rocky mountain atv. They have about 95% tread left. I started MX instead of trail and took them off. I will sell them both for 90 bucks. These are great for trails, max protection against damage from the 6 ply and the extra ground clearance of a 22. I even MX raced them a few times and they did pretty good. they will slide around a corner when you need to.
