250EX Levers For Small Hands

Just bought 8 year old grandson a 250EX.. He has a problem getting his fingers around the brake levers ( Small Hands, takes after his grandpa ) No coments :( Does someone make a lever with a smaller reach for shorter fingers ?? Thanx :)

Your not scared thats too much bike for him? My daughter is getting a new 250ex for Xmas and is moving up from a 90 but she is 15. IDK maybe I am just too carefull.

Its good to be carefull not to turn a kid loose on a bike with to much HP.. He doesnt race, Is closely supervised and rides with the family at the beach... He also had a china 90 but had probs in the sand (not able to climb the smallest hills) as well as keeping it together (shaking itself apart) Yes it is a concern but we will keep a close eye on him.... Thanx

Maybe this will help someone but a dealer here in oregon last wknd ran a sale on new 250ex (2007) for a cheap deal of $1995 flus freight and assembly ... I say them going out the door 3 at a time on trailers.... What a deal !!! Shows how far your dealers will bend...

I live in Texas and I bought a brand new 08 from a dealer in Oklahoma for $2499 out the door off ebay. I spent about $100 in gas to go get it but I think I did pretty good.
