88-89 frame motor mount question.

I just recently got a 88 250r. I just put the motor in it and i noticed that the rear lower motor mount on the motor that is near the shock linkage mount dosent go to anything... Is it suppose to be like this? It dont look like there ever was any mounts. Thanks

I have that same set up, 86 engine on a 88/89 frame. You have a mount right above the swingarm. It works just fine that way. :)

Yea, thats just one of the differneces between the '86 and the '89.
