Stupid question about the MX DS450

i know i should already know this answer but is there a pink wire that i need to cut on the mx model or does it already come with the race mapping?

anyone know why my MX didnt have the pink wire looped out of the main wire harness?
I think ive now located it but it envolved unwraping the wiring harness.
anyone else had this problem?

Where were you looking for the wire?

All the MX's i've seen have had the pink wire in the same location as the 08's, which was looped out of the loom in the area behind the key.

Is your bike a street legal EC model? if it is there is no pink wire on these models to cut.

The pink wire you have found is for the speedometer.

thanks guys, yeah it is an EC model, so does that mean there is no race map installed in th ecm?
what does cutting the pink wire actually do? just adjust the fuel map or does it change ignition timing/map aswell?
because if it is just the fuel map i guess an FMI would solve the problem.
