shipping plastics?

has anyone bought used plastics and had them shipped? just curious about how much it would cost and how to go about prepping them for shipping? its from pa to louisiana. thanks, neil

i shipped a front fender off my 400ex (with the attatched side panels) in a box that fit almost perfect. didnt pack it because there was no movement inside, it costed me 12$ at usps to go down south some where.

people make it out to be such a big deal to ship plastics. plus people overcharge for the delivery.

it should cost about $25.i would stack them on top of each other and wrap them liberally with the clear plastic shrink wrap and stick a label on the thing.

multiple places quoted me over $100 to ship my full set of stock 400ex plastic. Ended up having to have a buyer come pick them up
