hey all.

I'm running a slip-on with a 152 right now.

Tomorrow i'm going to put a uni air filter on.

Do you guys think i'll need to move up to a 155 main now or do you think i can keep the 152?

Also, do i need to mess with my needle or a/f screw?

i had a 10/1 pistion stage 1 cam and uni filter with no lid and a slip on exhaust i tried a 155 and that seemed alittle fat so i went with the 152 and the bike ran much better, the 155 would be good for cold weather riding in my case

i ran a 155 main in my 440 with 11.5:1 compression, slipon exhaust and stage 3 cam...

it depends on where you live

Sounds like the 155 may be a little to fat for just my slip-on and air filter then.

I'm at 600ft elevation.

I guess i'll just leave the 152 in and then try a 42 pilot so my cold starts will help out.

Jetting seems like it is difficult to nail down. I spoke with a guy on another forum who has an EHS lid, slip on, carb spacer, and a filter and he is running a Dynojet 170, when I compared that on the jetsrus site that makes a 190 keihn but he said that it runs fine. Guess it all depends on where you ride at.

Edit: Just because I decided to investigate further I looked at the instructions for the 400ex dynojet kit and it says to use a 170 dynojet with those mods. Just seemed like a lot to me

Damn! the guy who jetted my bike said he has a 180 main in!!

It seems to run fine but I havent seen anyone on here with anything bigger than a 170. Also after reading the sticky thread on jetting I think I better start from scratch and do it over myself!
