We spend alot time discussing the Nationals, so now lets hear who is winning the regional and local series Championships for the 09 season (youth classes) . If your series is finished and the champion has been crowned then share it with us (MX , XC , TT etc ), also include the brand quad they ride and lets see which brands the winners ride. Lets keep it fun , informative and congratulitory. D-6 ?, D-13 ? NEATV ? OXC ? Dade MX ? SSQRA ?, TQRA ?, Durhamtown ? etc.
A pic of the rider would be nice also.

Coley Wood #8 from McEwen, TN took 1st place in the T.M.X.A.
TN State Motocross Assoc. Series. Coley took all 17 rounds undefeated in the 70 cvt class on his DRX 70. (no dnf's either, patting myself on back) Our awards banquet is dec. 12th so I will get pics then. We hit Loretta's this year and Coley liked it so we may try to hit a few more Nat's next year. We have 3 tracks on the farm and numerous trails so he keeps his seat time on . He stays on honor roll @ school but never really cared for the "other" sports but we spend plenty of time hunting, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, shooting and of course riding. I am very proud of Coley's ability and his sportsmanship toward his fellow racers like how when they are finished they all go run off and play. Our series runs long motocross tracks and supercross tracks in middle and western TN, KY and MS.

Brady Carson-08-09 (9 & under) Alabama arena cross 3rd place, he rides a Hot Quads, mach 1 (70) and was only 5 years old.

I believe both of Dale Raven's championships were won on DRR's,
I also want to congratulate Travis Wotring on winning 2 championships the 09' district 6 70cc champion on a DRR, and the 09 District 6 90cc championship on another DRR. Maybe Go-Go Photo has a recent pic of Travis . This could be the toughest district in the country , so I know these boys worked hard.

This was Colby's first season ever racing and he did pretty well so its safe to say we will be back next year. Colby has been on a DRR since he was 4 and it was an old 2002 DRR50.
He locked up the championship with 2 races to go, fortunately because he broke his swingarm and we were unable to make last weekends race. One race to go for double points on 12-5-09 and the season is finished.
Sponsored by his Mom and I and anyone willing to help a young rider grow in his sport of choice.

My son Sondre 7yrs.old had a great race season.Because of Norwegian children sports rules he did not race for points so he did not get an overal award. All the smaller kids get a price after every race.
In the South district cup he raced 8 races on four diffrent tracks in the 50-100cc(125cc 4stroke)class with following results.5.first places 2.second places and one DNF.

Yeah real important to keep a cool head in those races it is a battle just to keep the quads running to the finishline.

We just finished a 13 race series here in California and placed 1st in 80-90cc Expert class and 1st in 80-90cc Open class.

I would like to say thanks to all of are sponsors and others for there help. First thanks to Chris Grissom Racing for giving us such an awesome motor. We couldn't have done it without this little screamer. Also thanks to Six Six One, Six Feet Deep Clothing, Douglas Wheels and Randy from Motoworks Suspension in Bakersfield CA.

I would like to give a very big thanks to Marc Smith from Hot Quads. Its not to often you can call a company to place an order then have the owner spend an hour on the phone with you giving you advice and walking you through something. Marc it is truely a pleasure doing business with you. Like those of you reading this didn't already know this huh.

Thanks,
David Sparks

Turn the shocks to the softest position and it runs great. That is what we did and my son won all the motos and the main feature in his first and only F/T race. He wieghed 80lbs at that time.

Believe it or not that quad handles great the way it sits and that kid rides it for everything it has. I have been to alot of EDTN races and I can promiss you that the bike and kid would run up front on the east coast to.

Thanks Briant. And yes Toby to answer your question he does race it like that. I have had some of his other quads lowered and he tells me it doesn't make any differance to him. He loves the way this quad handles and he does well on it.

Our racing season has begun! After struggling with weather and other commitments over the winter, we finally got Kellen’s DRR 90 ready for the new season. On Gary Fallon of G-Force Powersports’ advice we installed the “low” speed gears and a new Dr. Pulley hit clutch. This combination, along with a little fine-tuning made a huge difference! Kellen pulled off his first-ever District 15 HOLESHOT!

The race was an AMA District 15 Hare Scramble at Plymouth Blackhaws MC Club in Plymouth, IN. For not riding since last October, Kellen quickly settled into a very nice rhythm. He was 4th after the first lap, made a pass for 3rd a little later, and when an opponent dropped out he earned his best–ever 2nd place finish!

Thanks to Uncle Lonny, G-Force Racing , Steury Racing, family and friends.

K-Dub gets the holeshot!
