My 400ex has an electrical problem?

My 400ex wont start. If i hit the E button it doesnt turn over, now i replaced the selinoid that wasnt the problem and i dont know if it is up were the E button clamps on. but if i hit the starter i can here a wirer frying out. I dont know what is wrong with it u guys have any suggestions?:)

Check the connectios on the battery, mine sounded liket that when my connection wasn't tight. Good luck.

alright thanks ill go try it becuase we have it down to 1 wire now.
