I want one. I just have some of the newbie questions. How much horse does it have and how fast do those things go, Stock that is. I know the top speed depends alot on how much the rider weighs cuz there pretty small but i just want an average...Thanks.

Actully how much the rider weighs shouldnt effect the top speed, just how fast u get there.....Dunno what i was thinkin.

Nope they don't make a Cr5o. Smallest the Cr's go are 80's.....Correct me if i'm wrong....

they used to make 60s, dont know if they still do, might make a 65 now to compete with kx65 and ktm 65

honda used to make the CR60 back in the 80's. that was my first motocross bike. man that thing was fast when i was 10. Contrary to popular belief it pulled as hard or harder then the kx60. i could pull the holeshot on everybody on my stock cr60 except for one of my good riding buddies who had a full mod kx60 worth probably $10K. canadian. it was nuts. i rode it alot as well. it was fast as some mild 80s.

they did make a CR60 in 82 and 83. I really like the Honda MR50s i have they are 2 stroke and super fast i have 6 of them:D

i am lookimg for a xr50 to ride at the sand in the campgrounds, i have a 1978 xr80 but it is not small enough, correct me if i am wrong but the guy with the smallest or the nicest small pit bike(campground bike) wins:D any one please pm me or post me on a xr50 or trx 70, thanks.

I weigh around 130pds and my stock xr 50 will do around 35mph. A kid that i know rode next to me down a field on his honda rancher and said that i was doing around 35mph.


In my opinion id say get an xr 50 because i think that the smaller the bike the more fun because everything is more of a challenge. Dont get me wrong though even the bigger bikes are alot of fun too.

I have a bone stock 1969 mini 50 and the top speed is 28mph. The only thing that has changed over the years is the igniton. and the weight. the new ones are a lot lighter. and have electronic ignition. Mine has points:rolleyes: 35 would be the top speed I think.
