if im running stock bore does the dynatek give you more rev than stock and is it worth putting on a stock motor your thoughts please. if so im looking for one if you got one to sell thanks

Dont waist your money, the non programable one is nothing more than a 88-89 curve. (by the way the stock 88-89 cdi is better than the 86) I had a dyna FS for a while, ****ted out on me within a month. Never got it wet, never dropped it.

If i were you, i would try the ricks hot shot cdi.

there was allot of failures on the programmable dynas for the trx250 box but not the cr250 box
From what I have been told, it was traced back to the voltage regulator, if the headlight and tail lights are removed, the regulator cannot "dump" the extra voltage.

i have a non programmable one and it died after 10 minutes of run time, got a replacement and it has been good for a year or two.

i think i might try one anybody got a dynatek or ricky hot shot they want to sell for 86 thanks let me know
