When i pull my front brake lever my calipers grab my rotors, but dont seem to release. The pistons can be pressed back into the calipers pretty easily so i dont think they are frozen, but i am stumped. Why wont they release my rotors?

Any help would be appreciated.

sounds like you master cylinder is sticking. You can buy a rebuild kit on Ebay. Your calipers probably need new seals as well.

Is it an easy job to do? Specialized tools needed?

The only thing special would be snap ring pliers for the master cylinder rebuild.(you can also buy a 450r or 400ex master off ebay) As far as the calipers you wiil have to buy the parts from Honda and you may need compressed air to get the pistons out.

Ive found both caliper and master cylinder rebuild kits on ebay. I guess that is my best option. :ermm:

I was hoping it was a nice simple fix. :(

Can i just buy a 400 or 450 master and swap just the master? (use all my 250r brake parts with the 450 master and lever)
