i know its not a good handling chassis and i would be better off doing this with something better.Lets get that over with the frame is practicly free
What would it take to get a 2 stroke in the frame, I know most 2 strokes are not counter ballanced and the frame will need to be beefed up or even filled but what else am I looking at.
both myself and friends are very good with both MIG and TIG welding.
What I would really like is either a 250 or 300 that will go in fairly easy, the 250r is an obvious choice but not the easist to find a complete motor.
thanks for any and all help

i would suggest a bigger 4-poke for that style frame. it is very wide and you will have a pea of a 2 stroke motor. i say get an older 500 or so street bike motor. the best bet would be the air cooled XL-650 honda motor.

as for 250r motors. they are everywhere. there are guys with 10 or more on their shelves.

I actually found a 90 zuki 250r fairly cheap that Im going to be working on instead. Ill do some reading and see what I can do with it.

this is a cool build i always wanted to put a yz250 or yz426 motor in one with a little cutting and welding you should be able to get it to fit i support you 100% on this build
