just wondering if anyone has intentionally bought aftermarket 450 shocks to put on the 400. then modified them to fit like a fox evol or something. I think if it was valved for a 450 with a lighter rider on stock arms it would be perfect for a rider on stock 400 arms or stock valving with +2 arms on the 400? steve

Ive been wondering this too, I would think it would work. They can set the stock R shocks up for the 400 so they should be able to do aftermarket the same way.

Might try emailing C and D and see what they can tell you. If you do email them make sure and post up your finding.

my friend tried stock 450 shocks on +2+1 a-arms and they are still too stiff.
