i have a 2005 trx 450r it runs good . i cant get my fan to work. i remove the lites. i tested the fan and its good .. my mecanic says is the stator is this true. how do i check it before i buy one ?
can the bike run if the stator is bad?
any ideas the wierd thing is that if i try to hot wire the fan bike dies.
are the stators good on this bikes please help

with the bike running, take the wire that goes to the sensor and ground it to the frame. if the fan works you have a bad sensor. it is the wire on the front of the head.

i dit that and it does not work. if the stator is bad can the bike run?

no the bike will not run

i also had the wire break on an 05 coming out of the rectifier under the back fender. you might check there also.

^^ Agreed^^ But you (florentino) said you tested the fan and it's good. :ermm:
