Cody and I had to take the boat out and run some fuel through it as we prepared it for winter. I almost forgot the camera, but it is usually my rule to always have one with me.

We came across a Commerant, which around here do not let you get anywhere near them before they dive under and pop up 100 yards further away from ya, but not today:p

He started to take off then dove hard and we never saw him again.

There werent many birds on the water, most are in small rivers and lakes/ponds right now. We caught two Herons though

AWESOME!

All we ever see around here are Eagle's and Blue Herons. The occasional White Gull will pop out but not to often unless there is a flooded corn/bean field. I need to get out more and get some pics. just not enough places to get it done here...
