Your best bet for the trails would be a 21 front and 20 inch rear

you guys have helped this thread a lot...
the ITP GNCC's, Quadcross XC's are both nice
GBC X-Rex are ran quite a bit.
then of course the most popular Maxxis Razr 2 fronts with Razr rears.
Personally i like the GNCC's. have gotten me through some NASTY races. and have never seen one with a sidewall puncture.
you cant go wrong with either of these setups.

I run maxxis razr2's in the front, 22x7x10 and itp gncc's in the rear, 21x11x9. The itp's run a little small so order a size bigger. My 21's are only a little taller than the stock 20's. I went bigger in the front for more clearance in the trails.

Misread, for some reason i thought he said sizes. Sorry for the misread... But I have heard tons of great reviews of the gbc x-rex tires and seem to be a little bit cheaper then the alternatives from itp and maxxis. Also look into kenda tires, they have been known for having super long lasting tires

I have the pure sport realtors on my raptor they work pretty good but I think they only come in 22 inch rear but I love them. run them one was for dirt and hard ground and turn them around for sand and snow. I have itp holeshots GNCC on the 450R and they hook good but not so much in the mud and sand.

I've been running straight Maxxis Razr on the rears since 2001. The are a really good all around tire.
I have Razr 2 22" when it gets really rutted in the winter. You lose some "seat of the pant" hp though for sure. Better to be moving than stuck though.
I am ready to get another set of 20" Razrs.
This year's in tire will be out in a couple years. Tire manufactures want you keeping up with the Jones.

*EDIT* Never mind I ride mx. But those quadcross xc's look pretty good.
ITP Mxr6's in the rear, quadcross pros in the front.

If you're just running trails, you can't go wrong with a set of regular Razr's

I was using the stock tires on my LTR450 for a while... then I said man these things suck for trail riding!
After some advice on various LTR forums I went with a Maxxis RAZR setup. Rears are 20 x 11 x 9s on 9x8 ITP .190 T-9 Gran Prixs, and the Fronts are 21 (can't remember the rest) on a 10" ITP .190 T-9 Gran Prix wheel.
LOVE THEM!

I use Razr 2 knock offs. They hold up the same.
