sometimes it seems a little light on the sides but looks good on the top. Is this too light?

I never really read the plug..I keep going rich untill it breaks up alittle then back it to lean little by little till it cleans out.

I like a nice tan look myself but I'm a 4stroke guy. If that were on my bike or my sons bike it'd be okay but I'd like it alil more lean myself. Not sure if the 2strokes read any different with the mixed gas though.

it looks good rather have it run a little rich than lean at least you have a 2nd chance what do you have ???? 4 stroke or mighty 2 stroke

Ive been told the cinnamon color is a great color. I would be alright with that color any more tanner or white would be a little to lean for me. Again this is JMO!!:D

White or Gray is being on the lean side. Tan to light brown should be the area you're looking for (Where you are now). Check this plug reading chart and look at #14. I try to have my plugs in this range. Yours is not far off... Just a tad bit richer which is fine.

Ride1 thanks for the link I have looked at several sites but most say alot with few pics. For someone like me pics are the best way to go.

I would say your in a safe zone, with no problems. As the temperature drops your plug will again change to a lighter color ever so slightly.
Keep your fuel and oil mixture consistent, except for gradual changes occasionally.
Your spark plug uses a spacer on it either to index or to pull the plug away from the piston a little. Just don't lose the spacer....
Make sure it is there at every plug change.

Ur welcome fellas... I've been refering to that chart for years. Had it saved on my favorites for the longest lol. Now I know what to look for right off hand because I'm on point with what I'm looking for and what I want to get. Just pulled Jams plug and read it and it's almost identical to #14. Just more tan/cinnamony (lol) around the porcelain area.

Thanks for the input, I am not much of a plug reader. If it looks grey or white I know its lean and if it's black it's rich...that pretty basic. I know some guys read the shade of the color and the side of the tip as well but I just wanted to make sure we werent too light.
