I've searched all and can't find any specific years that'll fit my quad.

What years of the 450R front shocks will fit my 2007 400EX?

Modifications needed?

06-08 should fit if I'm not mistaken?

All years for the front fit. I like the 04 or 05 best, they are a little softer than the 06+

just have to find out what the length for the 400 shocks are. I have heard that kfx450 shocks fit and that YFZ shocks fit.

both of which are better choices because they have more adjustibility compared to the Honda shocks

KFX are great not to stiff and not to soft!! and they dont affect ride heighth at all really maybe 1/8th of an inch!! love my kfx shocks. they do require some modification but they work great!!

Same here. I just finished putting them on a few minutes ago. Took some work, but with the right tools and measurements everything goes together fine. Can't wait to hit the dirt.

For the KFX Shocks, what did you have to do to make them fit?

Had to cut off about an 1/8" off each side of the top eye and a part of the mounting bracket on the on the frame of the quad. I'm gonna make a thread here in a minute with a bunch of pictures and stuff. I'll post the link here once it's posted.
