450R cam chain?

I've seen that you can use a crf450 cam chain and its stronger. So my question is can you use a cam chain from a trx450r? The reason I ask is my friend has a new stock one for the trx and I was gonna pick it up for him if it will work. Thanks in advance for the advise.

Nevermind guys there is a 2 link difference I found out....thanks anyway

06 up chains are the same length as the bike chains. We put an 06 450R chain in a 400 and it worked fine.

Thanks for the info.....his is a 05 unfortunately :( so thats not gonna work still.
