crf cam or stage 2 hot cams

run mostly 300ft sand drags run stock stroke with je 13.5 piston ii also do some trail rideing so i don't care to run a stage 3 hot cam if a crf cam is better what year is best.

I have had all stages of hot cam 1,2 and 3 and the 2002 CRF450r cam, and out of all those i am still running the CRF cam. it is more of my riding style. but i MX race and we dont have 300ft holeshots so i dont know.

it would depend on your gearing but id stay away from a top end cam like the hot cams 3

sparks makes a tt cames as well as others but they are top end based also

in the engine sectioon they got a break down on the cams, or if you know enought about what grind u want etc you could have one special made its not as expenesive as u would think
DASA sells some nice cams also joe byrd was pullingmajor holeshots with them

is the crf cam as good as the hrc cam? or are they the same?? what all years of a crf cam will work with my 2006 450er..ya elec. wish it wasnt.. but i want more top end and mid and dont wanna loose a ton of bottom. also most important i dont want to loose any reliablity..
