Does anybody know of any companies that make dessert or +1 foam seat covers for the 99-07 400ex?

They are not the best looking seats but they are very very nice to sit on all day.

Quad Tech is the brand that Team Matlock (Baja Champs) uses.

That one is very nice but as of last year it was 450r only with no plans to make one for the 400ex

That is why we ended up with the hi flite

Do you know if Hi-flite is +1" or +2" to +2.5"

Is it possible to put the Quad tech 450R cover on a 400ex seat?

That is why we ended up with the hi flite Well they make one for Matlocks 700XX, you just have to tell them what it's for. I'm pretty sure that's how it works, anyways.

If I was in the aftermarket ATV business and the best desert racing ATV team asked me for something for 1A I would say yes also.....

I talked to the owner of Quadtech in 08 and at the time he said he was swamped and did not have any plans to make any thing for the 400ex.

I also asked if I could just buy the seat cover and foam and make it work on a 400ex seat pan and no they were completely different.

Things may have changed with the slow economy.

One of the guys over at the 700XX forum I frequent said they'd make one for his XX, so I don't think they did it just because Matlock asked.

I think I'll look into Jettrim as I want a gripper cover, or possibly custom.

The funny thing about the quad tech seat covers is that they must have made them for 400ex's at one time because I have one on my seat now, but wanted to go to a +1.5" foam.
