Well my carb is shot, the slide gets wedged its so used. I am going to get a different carb and quit messing with tryin to fix this one.

Anyone running an aftermarket carb? I know the FCRs are mainly what people run and bore them out and whatnot.

The stock carb is perfect and one of the best you can in terms of performance! Why get an aftermarket? What was the cause of your slide going bad

I found a lectron for cheap and didnt know if anyone is running them, I have always heard that the FCR was the best choice but i didnt know.

My carb the slide just got wore down and the slide was loose in the carb with alot of play, and would get wedged and stick and get hard to open.

I would stay with the fcr carb for sure. Imo, the best carb out for the modern 4 strokes and highly modifyable

Just get another stock FCR carb. Best you can get.

What all do you have done to your quad. If you have some porting and high compression piston with intake and exhaust I would look at getting a honda fcr carb. The stock yfz is a 39mm and the honda is a 41mm. It would work a lot better than having yours bored out, all the components are made to work with what is in the 41. You can pick one up off ebay for about 250.
