vin number location [Archive]

A guy wants me to buy a 400ex and I looked for the vin but could not find it. I want to run the numbers to see if it may be stolen. Where are the vin numbers?

Do yall know of a web site that I can run the numbers?

theres a flat spot right behind where the bumper mounts that will have the numbers you're looking for.

unless a crappy powdercoater covered it up, or if it is stolen and the theif sanded it off. you might be able to run the numbers on the side of the motor though
