Since the bomb suard are riding the polaris and the akraix guys the can am I am sure there are alot more parts available not to mention can am fielding bithell so its got an aftermarket following but if they were picking their own bike to mod whats the best platform
most i saw was yam and honda but that was about all there was till recently.
Any opinions, i was reading uo on ryan bemis 450R and it wasnt near as modded as u would think,
ive came across more honda freestylers than anything,
im not looking for brand war just facts or honest opinions

so I'm new to quads but i've raced dirt bikes mo life and although four strokes are the new big deal i have always kinda been partial to two strokes and I recently went out and bought a super tricked out 96 banshee and i'm wondering if thats fine for freestyle jumping or if i'm gonna be in trouble when I start jumping it over freestyle ramps

I would test it out on little jumps and go bigger and bigger and see what your suspension can handle. If you have a nice big landing it might handle fine. Don't just go for it. Make sure you know what your machine can handle before u go pushing it to the max. In freestyle shocks are the best thing you can have for your quad. If you are serious about getting into freestyle u should start saving up for a 450. The stock shocks on these bikes can handle this kinda of stuff.

yeah id have to say a 250r setup for mx/freestyle is very hard to beat there so damn light and the motors have 3 moving parts :)

completely disagree with you guys on this one. the 250r was probably the hardest quad to ride freestyle on we've found. any new 450 these days will out perform a 250r on a ramp. consistency is key here.

yeah ive never hit a ramp i just stick to the dirt usually but i could see what your saying there probbly more tricky to keep in the power :)
