Chain ?

i just bought a DID Racing chain and i have a 14 36 i think set up and at first the chain was good then it got loose and kept jumpin off so i took a link out of it and i had to pull the chain really tight so it would fit and i tightened up the rearend so its like maye .5 inch of play and i really need to back it off to al least an inch but i font know what to do cause i cant put another link in and the rearend is far in as it would go and ive tried putin a link in and backin it all the way out and it doesnt help any. and suggestions and what will it do if i leave it like this

I had the same problem with mine your gonna have to get a bigger sprocket and add the extral link or get a smaller sprocket and keep the link out. There isn't much room for adjustment on the 300
