First mods?

i am about to buy my buddies z400 from him and it's all stock. just wondering what some good mods would be for woods, trails, and mud. never had a sport fourwheeler before so looking for all the advise i can get

If you are going to be trail riding i would have to say traction before power. So get new tires and wheels first. and if you are racing, what kind of racing would you be doing?
