I picked up a used 2005 DRR 50 this past weekend for $600. It has aftermarket axle and a-rms along with DWT rims and shredder tires. The quad is in pretty good shape and runs excellent.

My daughter currently rides a 2008 KFX90. I race XC and she is starting to race in the pee-wee class. Do you guys think the DRR is worth keeping for her, or the KFX90? I dont need both, and I am not sure which one would be best for her. I know the DRR is more upgradeable, but the KFX is a nice quad as well.

Any feedback from DRR owners etc would be appreciated.

Sounds like the drr already has some expenseve upgrades that you will want for racing.

Also isn't the kawi a single a-arm 4stroke? If so it will cost quite a bit to make it a racer.

You can make your DRR a 70cc for not much$$$$.

Thanks.

Yes the KFX is a single a-arm 4-stroke.

The DRR is a nice ride. I guess I should go that route since its much more upgradeable and much more stable.

I priced out the kit to make it a 70cc and it was like $250 for everything which is cheap.

I have owned DRR's since 2002 when they first were made. The DRR you have is bulletproof and very upgradeable and easy to make really fast.
Sell the KFX and use the money for suspension and motor mods and you will have some left over for entry fees. The DRR will crush the KFX on the track in stock form.
BTW, the KFX 90 is a dressed up Kymco as is the Suzuki and Arctic Cat 4stroke 90's available today.
Nice, dependable and expensive to find the power out of them.

Thanks greenmachine70.

My daughter likes the DRR she said so it looks like we are going to keep that and sell the KFX.

Thanks to all for your input.
