Picked up an 08 kx250f after selling my yzf. Has some minor stuff done to it, but the suspesnion was setup for woods, so It'll be sent out to PR2 this winter. The number plates look kinda trashy after removing his old numbers, so I'll probably snag up some new number plates and backgrounds. Other than that I'm pretty happy with the bike. I wasn't really expecting much of a different motor wise switching from a 250f to a 250f, but wow does this thing pull a lot harder in the low and mid range compared to my yzf. The overrev is just as impressive.

Yah it does have the bump in it. Personally I think it needs to be bigger to be any real benefit.

Yeah the hump looks too small to actually have any effect. But the bike looks amazing. I love it! Looks like a good buy to me!

Looks awesome man!

My friend currently has a TTR 230 or something, but he has been saving up and is now getting a job at bestbuy so that he can buy a KX250F sometime soon! His uncle or something works at Kawi though so he gets a decent discount when buying new.

haha hell I haven't driven that thing in probably a solid 3 months.
Well I got my one solid ride in and it's starting to get cold now, so I'll probably start tearing her down and cleaning her up for next season. Let the money pit begin!

Nice looking bike, my brother is trying to make the switch from an 06 yzf to a newer kawi. One of the things i would do is switch the pipe, personal preferance but i just think stock kawi's are obnoxious sounding. But thats all a personal preferance. Looks good and have fun on the break down man! :D

They do have a pretty distinct tone, especially in the upper revs. Rev limiter is kinda funky sounding too lol. Don't worry over winter a pipe will be in the works. Either FMF or PC, not sure. I'm trying to save up some money for a Ford Raptor though, so that's what I'm saving for now. haha trading in and f150 for another f150.
