crf450r to 400ex ?

i know there has been many questions and threads i have read a couple
i can get my hands on a 02 450 dirt bike for 1500 i was thinking of doing a hybrid
anyone think its worth it im goin racing next year or should i just do a 416 with stage 2 cam and valve springs etc...

ill tell u real quick u can either race the c class with what u got a all the motor work u can think of or u can spend the money on the dirtbike and be stuck with a rollin crf which is a bit** but ull never get the speed out of a 400ex its air cooled and so far out of style i got beat on a crf against a yfz450r i had to big of sprocket but my motor was stock also as was his but his was fuel injectedand brand new mine had the arens frame longtravel shocks blah blah blah my parts needed a refurb his was brand new i did my conversion and unless u know sum1 or can do it urself ur in for a long climb up the hill but it can be done .... not to difficult unless u have no exprience pm me maybe i could help
