I was wondering if anyone has ever run paddle tires in the snow. I live in Wisconsin and I'm not happy with the stock tires I have on my 400ex. I just bought a 450r and am considering getting paddle tires for it for the winter. Is this a bad idea or would it work out nice? And if so, how tall of paddles and how many paddles would you guys recommend?

Id suggest the actual tires meant for the snow! Paddles might work but proboly not much better then the stockers depending upon how much snow you have

I tried some paddles in the snow it works OK in a straight line but turns like crap.I would just get some ice studs and put them in your stock tires they work pretty good but if you want killer traction buy front and rear ice tires and stud them up head out to the ice and have some FUN.IT will handle like its on RAILS.

someone was suggesting maxxis 910's in another thread..
their reviews make them out to be ok and theyre somewhat inexpensive @ $40 - $50 ea.

4-snows or pro wedges work great in the snow. you can get 4 snows for like 40 to 50 a tire
