Last season I threw two crank bearings on my 04 and my 05 motor they were stock cranks and stock bearings. I had a high comp piston ported polished head an titanium valves. I wanna no what the best crank and crank bearing is for these 450rs because of building a motor from scratch for next year. Just wondering whats good and reliable.

We sent ours to Falicon and had them put a Corilla Rod on it and balance and blue print it. Hope it works, haven't got it back together yet. I also heard Crankworks does a good job.

i had crankworks do my stock crank. Ive never had a prob with my stock crank from 04, but decided to tear it down and chage bearings just in case. so far its held up good. didnt notice anything diff with the crankworks balance... just more for peice of mind...

im pretty sure that they said they didnt need to add any weight to it. actually took a lil out. it was prob close fromthe factory. it was the first time i had the bottom end apart since it was new and i had 4 seasons of XC racing on it with 0 problems.

Falicon and Crankworks are the two best. It will cost you more than a new stock or Hotrods but it's well worth the money.
