Ok well I installed my 450carb. it works and all but its rather strange.
When heavy deceleration it slightly backfires. I blocked off the hot start with the plunger. Im running a 58 pilot jet, 3rd clip down, 165 main and the pilot is pretty big compared to otehr builds. A/f mixture screw 3.5 turns out.
Now, at the bottom of my carb there was a peice of plastic blocking a hole right beside the pilot jet. (a hole with no threads and the peice of plasic looked like it was supposto be there. So I said what the hek ill take it out. So I did and did not notice a change. With or with out it did the same thing.)
Im starting to wonder if its the air cut off valve. Then I let my bike idol for a 5 minuts or so and I checked the plug and it looked normal.. White in the middle and black all around. Finally, when it idols its not a constant idol.
