525 IRS Spark Arrestor

So I removed my spark arrestor and that annoying little "chirp" went away! Am I fine to ride on trails with it out, or should I put it back in? The cops don't look for the arrestor per se, but I don't want to see sparks shooting out the back end. What do you all think?

I would like to get a new pipe, but can't justify it right now.

You are fine, IMO.

Modern 4 strokes do not throw sparks.

You will be fine unless you go a pay riding area or national forest where they might check it.
