Alright, I have 4 quads now and I have decided to put this one up forsale. Reason being I want to buy another bagged truck and I really have no use for 4 four wheelers. I'll start by listing what mods and what I've done to it. Heres a little info.
Its a 2001 Honda 400EX. I got the quad hoping to build it for my little brother to race. However he got a 450R last week and no longer will need this one. The motor has the 440Kit w/ 12.5-1 compression. New timing chain, Piston, Rings, Headgaskets, Valves. Also installed Hot Cams Stage 2, ported head, NGK Plug, Full LRD Exhaust setup, White bros rev box and edelbrock carb. This motor honestly doesn't even have an hour of run time on it.
Suspension wise it rides on a Gibson +3 Long travel A arms in front, Axis triple rebound shocks w/ resivoirs setup for a 180-200lb rider, Lonestar +2 Swing Arm, Durablue +2 Rear axle, Gibson +2 Stem w/ Tag Bar Clamps, Magura X-Line Buldge Bars, 7 SRP Adjustable Steering stabalizer, AC Nerf Bars w/ no heel gaurds, DG Front Bumper, ITP Rear Rims w/ Holeshot Tires, ITP Front rims w/ Kumho Power star Tires. The frame also has powdercoat which is yellow and about a year old.
The quad has been pretty well modded as you can tell from the list. However, The plastics that are on it have been raced on 4 other quads since 2006 and are beat up. I didn't have the stock black side pieces for the stock plastics to hold them on but I do have yellow plastics that have been race cut that come with this quad. I see alot of stock 400's going for about 22-2500.00. I feel my price for this quad is fair at 2850.00. The wheeler is worth the price, Quick quad and rides very nice. On top of it all you get a pretty built quad with a fresh motor. I went threw and torqued all bolts to where they should be, Greased up, topped off the fluids and this quad is ready to be ridden.
So with this being said I am asking 2850.00 or I'll trade straight up for a bagged truck. If you have something to offer trade wise don't hold back as it may spark interest for me.
