Yea I figured Byrd would probably stay on a honda. I wonder if he is going to try to get an "outside" the industry sponsor to help him out. Maybe like RedBull or GEICO.

Do you know if he is going to be factory supported or just privateer? He was always fast on that suzuki a few years ago...

Gibson will be fast on anything. Yamaha, Suzuki, Can-Am, KTM anything...he proved that by winning two titles last year from swapping from a Suzuki. I hope he has a good 2010 along with all the other pro riders. As for Mike Walsh, the guy is a genius so I'm sure whoever he brings to the track next year will run up front. I know Gibson can get the backing to go at it alone. Joe Byrd is a walking bank roll too so I'm sure his 2010 effort will be good. I thought the Doug Gust-Polaris thing was a sure deal...so kind of suprised at that one. Hope Lawson finds a good ride or gets the support he deserves because he can ride too. Any word on Pat Brown and if he will be back with Yamaha? Pappy you got anymore inside info?

I was hoping Byrd would quit

On the Holden Racing Facebook page it has a picture of Creamer riding a Kawi with Walsh/Fox stuff and Rath bumper, grab bar and nerfs with the number 270..his old number. So he may be the lone Kawi rider. Pappy its cool you are staying tight lipped at least...and I know where to come when its official. Gotta love atvriders.com!

cool to see some of these teams and riders materializing. Would be cool to see lawson on a suzuki. And wasn't there word of some guy with experience running a nascar team trying to get a team going in the pro class for quads? Wonder who walsh will pick up as their rider??

Yea Brian Winters. I havent heard anything lately about it. Last I heard was that he was working with a manufacturer to help out. I hope it all works out for him and that they can get a team set up. It would be great for the sport to have a team like that.

Pappy do you know anything about it?

I heard about the same as everyone else but havent heard much recently. If the economy hadnt tanked, I think we would have seen another big jump in outside sponsorship...but now, its gonna be hard for the Pro's much less amatuers and I dont know of many companies that will spend in our sport, especially with limited coverage.

Maybe its a good thing, keep some folks honest and keep the competition close.

This sport seriously needs to get some better TV coverage. When they aired the Lorreta Lynn National on Versus, to be honest it sucked. Yea it was good to get the sport back on tv again but I think they could have done a much better job at producing it. If somebody that didnt follow the sport watched it they would have been lost. They had terrible camera angles and only filmed like two spots on the track........ Man, I miss the WPSA days...

What ever happend to the Great Outdoor Games? That was so sick! The track and the TV coverage was awesome. I thought they said that the ratings for the GOG were the highest it has ever been thanks to the atv race.

KTM has a really nice contingency program lined up for 2010 and they also just added the new DWT series to the list.

Dont talk about things you dont know about. this couldnt be farther from the truth. Cody has a better offer financially and they just went there separate ways. Theres not bad blood.

Scott Ward is a dad of national youth riders in the 50 and 70 class. He has the financials to help a pro rider and that will be Cody this coming year. From what I hear Mike was toatally supportive of his decision. Scott has a good relationship with JB.

I asked Mark at the Ironman about next year. He said they were working on stuff but if nothing happened they could run Hondas again with their own stuff. He said they had enough inventory left. It would be cool to see Josh on a KTM though.
