Will 450R skids and bumper fit on a 400EX?

I have an '05 400EX. Will '04/'05 450R skids (swingarm and full chassis) and front bumper fit my 400EX?

swinger skid will, the front bumper will, and i highly doubt the full skid will work I havent heard of anyone trying this. the frames are different shapes so i doubt they will work, maybe with some modding it would but at that point you can get a 400 one for the same price along with the rest of this stuff. good luck, Steve

I just saw the set of (3) listed on Craigslist and was hoping it would all fit.

cool, you could buy all three and sell the full skid if it is a good deal on them. just an option for you to think about. steve

I tried replying to the craigslist ad and the email keeps bouncing back undeliverable. Argh! I guess I won't be getting them after all.

highlight the email adress, cody it and paste it in you email. thats what i always had to do when replying to craigslist ads

where did you hear that the swinger skid would?

i tried to use my 400ex swingarm skid on my 450r swingarm when i did the swap and it won't bolt up. the 450r has a 6 bolt hookeup where the 400ex only uses 4 bolts.

the 400ex skidplate did not line up with my 450r swingarm.

i just checked it again and the 400ex skid plate is not the same mount method as the 450r.

They are not interchangable. Unless maybe you could put the 450r skid on a 400ex?????i know for a fact though that the 400ex skid will not fit on the 450r, so i'm sure that works both ways.

you can in fact get a stock 450r skid on a 400ex, but cannot do vis versa.
