450r swinger mod

ok im doing the 450r swinger mod an i want to know if you can run the 250r axle with the sproket and rotor hub in the 450r carrier. also can i run the 450r brake set up with this axle? or am i gonna have to run the 450r axle with those hubs? thanks guys

Well, you can't hold me to this but if memory serves me correctly you need to run the 250R axle for sure. The 450R axle has a different sprocket offset. If running the 450R carrier you should be able to run the 450R brakes.

I ran a 450R swinger with a 250R axle/ carrier and brake assembly, but a spacer was needed to use the 250R brake stay.

Your problem isn't really in the axle assembly swap, the problem is in the shock/ linkage geometry.
