Breezwood Closing for the winter

Well there are only 3 weekends left to ride the Proving Grounds this year. The park will close for the winter on Tuesday December 1st.

If you haven't been out to ride the advanced track going the new direction - your missing out. Everyone seems to like the new direction Better.

Keep in mind 2010 memberships go on sale for $100 off the marked price during December and January. Anyone wanting to renew their membership for the same price they paid in '09 needs to renew before February 1st.

The park will re open for the spring on March 1st. Hope everyone has a good winter.

This is a great time of year for a cabin rental at the park. The weather is awesome for riding, and having a warm cabin to retire to is the way to go.

Two rentals available this weekend, Two available the weekend of the 20th, and still rentals available for Thanksgiving weekend. Were also having a Free Turkey Dinner at 1pm the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Memberships include free riding anytime the park is open - 5 days a week. 2009 Memberships are $600 for one rider, but are on sale in December and January for $500.

Family memberships are $600 for the first, $500 for the second, $300 for the third and $200 for each additional. Family memberships are also on sale for $100 off each memberships in December and January.

Membership renewals are the same price you paid last year if you renew in December or January.

awesome idea. or even for riders wanting to do some snow riding in the trails. be fun as all hell.

dan, whats the normal rates at ur park? been there a few times in the cabin but wasn't sure what the day rates are.just wanting to do the math on if i'd make it there enough times to be worth the membership. cause next season me and a few members plan on practicing at ur place as much as we can. with your track building skills dan, and amanda's banging egg sandwiches, makes for the perfect place to ride and practice for the season. haha

I cant wait for the next series of "Camps" that Dan has planned. Dream Camp was a huge success, and there are more in the works that do not really have a damn thing to do with racing and it has me STOKED!!! The race camps will be awesome as well, but if Dan can pull off this other idea, it will set the bar for the world in bringing our sport to the public in a way not seen before.

2010 Prices are as follows:

Again for the 3rd year in a row I haven't raised the one day weekend rate of $40 for one day. So again for 2010 a one day weekend pass is $40.

A two day pass is $60, and a three day pass is $80

Unfortunately weekdays are also $40.

Kids on 50cc machines are now Only $20 per day.

Camping is $10 per night for cars and trucks, and $20 per night for campers (campers that includes use of our dumping station when you leave).

The awesome weather this past weekend brought almost 200 riders to the park for the weekend. This weekend coming up (21st, 22nd) looks to be another great November weekend with awesome weather and track conditions.

Actually we've had alot of bikes here lately. They all know their season is just about over and want to get that last ride in.

yep, I am looking forward to getting back to Black Mountain in February when there is ice on the trees. Heated handgrips make a huge difference for winter riding.

Doing anything next week for thanksgiving? Today's out, I'm working 14 hours and tomorrow is a no go. Got a lot of end of the semester stuff I have to do, but I'm off next week.

We'll be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving!

We'll be open Friday 8am, Saturday we have a free turkey dinner in the dining hall at 1pm.

The park will be open oon Monday the 3th of November but will be closed for the year starting Tuesday December 1st.


We'll re -open again on March 1st.
