I think I found out why I am getting around 225 psi of compression. I changed my head to a stock oem out of the box never ran before head and still had 220psi. This time I noticed the head stay bolt would not line up because the head was to low. I actually had to file just slightly to get the bolt through. So I must have to thin of a head gasket. It is a cometic one piece metal gasket and looks to be about 1/32 or slightly bigger but less than a 1/16th thick. How thick are the OEM gaskets and where can a guy buy one that is just as thick but not have to pay $27-$33 for just a head gasket from Honda.

Side note, although I have 225psi and running 93 octane the burn pattern on my piston was very clean just a thin thin hint of brown across the whole top. No iregularities but there was a film of wetness but that may have been antifreeze that fell down when I took the head of?

how long have you been running with that compression. i'd like to see some recent pics of the piston crown, if possible. about how far is the piston from the deck at tdc?

Maybe a tank of gas. The Piston looks almost new still. I bought a OEM head gasket so hopefully that helps. I don't think a picture will help much now. It is basically a brand new looking piston with a hint of brown on it.
