been hunting the last 3 weekends. still pretty early for the mallards but weve shot alot of woodies and teal

Other then resident birds, we dont get much here until our late season come sin. By then we have a few birds but nothing like you folks in a good flyway.

I need to find an area that holds big bucks, lots of birds and is still close to the center of the racing world:p The next place I buy will have a stream and ponds on it or have the ability to have some made.

I went out for partridge today ... saw 2.

The first one flew off before I was able to get out of the truck ... the other I took 2 shots with my .410 trying for head shots and missed both times. I've lost my touch. He flew off.

Had fun with the Tundra though ... did some pretty good offroading and playing in the mud ... just me and the dog.

went out this morning..only got 1 teal, although the weather was more towards fishing than duck hunting, sunny and 60 degree's by around 9 in the morning lol

It was 73 at my house :eek2: Opening day for deer was yesterday and it was like hunting in the middle of summer. I an't imagine hntin ducks in this weather, just dnt feel right lol

HAAH ! you thinks thats bad KODIAK found a dead DOG!! and rolled in it he had a chilly ride home! Imagine wet swampy dog smell and then decaying dog smell
